GoPro Mountain Games at Vail: Ultimate Mountain Challenge

The GoPro Mountain Games brought all of the fun and excitement of the Teva Games (the former name of the event), and the podium remained similar with Josiah Middaugh winning for the 7th year in a row.  I finished 2nd for the 5th consecutive year, and I was pretty happy with the performances for kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, and road biking over two days.  XTERRA strong man Adam Wirth provided some excellent competition, and it was great to race against him!  Andrew Adamowski and Jak Hamilton raced strong and ensured that a full third of the pro field came from our little neighborhood here in Evergreen, CO--yeah!

Vitargo S2 was crucial in fuel and recovery for the challenging event.  Here's the skinny:
